Yesterday we went too a place called the Roar west art museum and they do work shops for our home school group.

This time it was printing with ink we all got to make foam block presses.

Mine was a great blue haring.

I don't have any pictures.

Sincerely,

your Friend,

Collin.

The Magnolia Mound Plantation.

After the first evening with Courtney we went to a plantation called the Magnolia Mound Plantation.

The first part of the tour was the Main House where the owners of the house lived.

Then the Kitchen.

Then the Slave Quarters.

Then the Over Seers's House.

Then I stalked a mini gator.

Ahhg! He has Me!

Then we went back home and the next day we saw a great blue heron in a tree it was cool!

Sincerely,

your friend,

Collin.

They changed their minds again!

All right its final this time there going to cut me open.

They're going to take out a thing called a parathyroid. This is a link to the website which has info on the parathyroid.

http://www.parathyroid.com/

We went to the hospital and I got an IV and then a sestamibi scan.

All right, this kind of surgery usually takes over an hour and you have to spend the night in the hospital and takes a long time to recover from.

But Mom did some research and found someone who does parathyroid surgury for a living. His name was Dr.Norman and he has perfected the surgery so that what would have been full out digging through my neck trying to find the infected parathyroid is now a one inch deep one inch long incision into my neck which in my opinion is much better.

After surgery which went really well, thank goodness. The staff of the hospital were really nice I got a stuffed bear with a Bucaneer sweat shirt and a poster of Captin Fear the bucaneer mascot. Everyone that helped with the surgery signed it and they wrote little messages on it.

Me and Mom hit the rode and checked out the scenery. Oh ya, I forgot, this is in Tampa Florada.

And since were in the neighborhood we stopped by our friends in Lousisana...ok it's not in the neighborhood... it's two states away. When we got there we met up with Mom's friend Courtney then we went to the French Quarter and got some pictures. We were there the day after Mardi Grai!! So there were lots of people and lots of beads!!!

Then we went to our friend's house and bunkered down for the night.

Sincerley,

your friend,

Collin.
